Invermere Fire Rescue Association (IFRA) is a not-for-profit society operated by firefighters from Invermere Fire Rescue in the District of Invermere, BC.
IFRA is dedicating 2022 to raising financial support in order to purchase and equip a Type II Structural Protection Unit. This unit, outfitted with sprinkler systems and specialized equipment, will be used to protect our community structures in the event of a wildfire threat. The unit also offers the ability to deploy to other communities in BC to assist with structure protection, with or without a crew.
